About Emerson Electric

Emerson Electric is a United States based multinational corporation that manufactures a variety of electrical equipment that serves a diverse set of industries. Emerson was first established in 1890 as Emerson Electric Manufacturing Co., and their first products consisted of electric motors. Two years later, Emerson became the first United States manufacturer of electric fans. With their growing success, Emerson quickly expanded their offerings to include electric dental drills, sewing machines, and power tools.

During World War II, Emerson contributed much to the war effort, serving as the largest airplane armament manufacturer in the world.
