Initially established as Turbomeca, Safran Helicopter Engines is a French maker of helicopter motors and supplier of related administrations including the repair and preparation of them. Turbomeca was established in 1938 by the Polish architect Joseph Szydlowski and Andre Planiol after their patent application for a supercharger was allowed.
